it just gets worse. we're doing teeth too right now. sorry. no suggestions here. it's one of those cruel things of life that just stink.
sorry for the pessimistic comment. we only got 3 hours of sleep last night for the same reason, so i'm feeling emnity towards teeth today.

when can i visit you guys? we'd love to play!

peter is too. it hasn't come through yet, but the ladies at the hospital have given me loads of advice. one said to rub a nubby washcloth, or just rub the gums with your finger, one said to get the numbing gel for teething and use it when it's bad, and of course all the obvious little toys and such...good luck!

Just as you are getting a full nights sleep the teeth start to come, and say good bye to the sleep. Poor little babes go through so much in the first few years of life its amazing. I suggest lots of loves and comfort, chew toys, Dash would get a runny nose and a diaper rash every time he got a tooth. Good luck.

So did the teething tablets work? See you are doing everything right, teething was your mommy instinct.

-baby orajel
-tylenol before bed (unless you're opposed to using medicine)
-chew toys
-those rings filled with water--put them in the fridge or freezer first and get them nice and cold
-a clean washcloth damp with cold water that she can chew on
-and patience
:)

At least she is a cute little mutt. I think that's the only reason Jack lived through his teething days. Good Luck!

The good news - you will all survive - until the next time. Perhaps it makes us appreciate the peaceful times, well anyway the relatively peaceful times.

Claire loved a rib bones from Outback--Sid introduced her to them and I don't think there was anything that worked better.

another great find: foam alphabet letters that are meant as bath toys (you can usually find them at the dollar store). Aliya is totally digging chewing on them, and they're easy to hold onto unlike some of those bulky plastic chew toys.
