This is Brent by day, and Brent by night. I have never seen anyone that works harder, every single day non-stop. When Brent and I went out for our anniversary in April I forced him to turn his phone off for one hour. When we turned it back on he had over 130 emails, and dozens of voicemails, ALL of which were urgent. His life reminds me of Luke Skywalker when he's flying that fighter jet through missiles and torpedoes at light speed. He literally has three to four people always in line to talk to him, and now imagine half of those people being old people that have something to complain about (have you ever been around old people? Do you realize that complaining is a legitimate hobby to some of them?) and the other half are his employee's that need direction, guidance, discipline, encouragement, help . . . . and solutions. Problem after problem after problem, ALL DAY LONG. It's never ending. And he's like pow! pow! Solve this problem, take that one out, solve that one from behind, fix that one without even looking. The most stunning part is seeing him stand at the helm alone. There's no one else up there leading alongside him; he has a fantastic team that follow his direction, but Brent alone carries the weight of running this building.
And to top it all off, he is the best dad on planet Earth. Brent ADORES his kids. And there are no words for how they love him back.
