South for some Sun

After a long stretch of working a lot, practicing a lot, preparing for a recital, playing the recital, remodeling the house, and feeling like every morning was a new opportunity to become exhausted, I declared Brent and I take a day off.
Monday morning we packed the gear into the car, loaded Mesa, and off to Buckskin Gulch we went. It's usually done as a two day hike, but because it's known as the world's most amazing slot canyon, there were no camping permits left. So we camped outside the canyon and did the 18 miles in one day the following morning.
Sometimes you just have to leave the computer home and go breathe some fresh air.
